Although an easy process, black background portraits do require a certain set-up in order to guarantee the best results. We will need a barn isle, covered arena, garage, or carport. If you do not have the required structure, please send me photos of your situation so we can determine if it is feasible. I will ask that all doors/windows are closed and lights turned off. These sessions are done solely with natural light, so the horse/dog will be positioned near the opening. Please make sure that the ground is freshly swept or raked. Although it is not required, any extra hands who are able to help is greatly appreciated. Sometimes it takes a few people to get those ears forward and camera-ready!

The best way to prepare for your session is to ensure that your horse/dog is freshly bathed and groomed. We want your four-legged friend to look pristine for these portraits! Once you have booked your session, I will send you a Welcome Guide, which will go into more detail regarding how you can best prepare your horse or hound.

Your photos will be delivered 2-3 weeks after your session. You will receive your photos in a personalized online gallery where you can download, share, and even purchase prints!

Of course! I highly encourage you to get your favorite images printed, as it makes a spectacular piece of wall art. I work with an amazing printing company whom offers various sizes and styles of prints. Once you have received your images, you will be able to order prints directly from your online gallery, which will then be delivered right to your door!
